soundFLUX’s first encounter with EDM occurred circa early 90’s in Florida. By the mid 90’s he frequently dined on the lavish Buzzlife/Capital Ball Room parties in the District of Columbia. Within a matter of months he found himself half-way around the world; Japan, Australia, South Korea, and Spain opening his eyes to new cultures along with their music and their nightlife.

Upon his return to the District of Columbia he honed his skills and techniques behind the decks. Eleven years later, many compilations, a number of residencies, and a multitude of shows including opening sets for some of EDM’s top acts; soundFLUX continues to break new music to avid fans.

By 2004, he founded BreakBeat Energy and continues to give back while providing an outlet for veteran as well as rookie Producers, DJ’s, and VJ’s to reach new and established fans.

With recent introduction of the new music label BreakBeat Energy, there is no doubt that the years to follow will see some serious choons offered up from the Washington, DC and Baltimore regions.
