Ableton Live 8 Released

Ableton has just announced the release of Live 8. You can now buy or upgrade to version 8.

I got to play with beta of Live 8 last month and really like the improvements. There are new features like groove pool, new clip warping, real-time looper synth, vocoder, crossfades, & enhanced editing. I never upgraded to 7 (I still use 6) but I am planning on upgrading to 8 this month.

The coolest new feature to hit live is the support (coming this summer) for Max/MSP. Max programming and other advanced algorithmic features will be seemlessly integrated into Live using Max for Live.
