Music Opportunities @ Remixin

Our community encourages participation. We want people to be able to post their music and remixes for free on the Remixin website and share their work with their friends and the world. In addition to this method of interaction with Remixin, we are looking for individuals interested in the following opportunities.

Sponsored Remix Competitions
To give the Remixin community access to some professionally recorded material we are seeking Bands, Musicians and Producers interested in having their music remixed and evolved on remixin. These songs and song parts (stems or remix kits) would become available to Remixin's community so they could remix and become actively engaged in your music. We could work together to find sponsors for the remix competition so that we could offer prizes to the winning entries. Bands such as Radiohead have had great success with their remix competitions.

Those interested should send us a link to the song for consideration as well as contact information for the band and the record label they are on. We accept and encourage all styles of music. Songs submitted and approved will be placed on Remixin and the user community will have the opportunity to remix the track. Send the infomation to us via the contact us page and someone will get back to you shortly.

Writing Opportunities @ Remixin

We are looking for contributors for the remixin website. In particular, we are currently looking for two contributing writers and a journalism intern for our upcoming web magazine and blog called Audio Grenade. We are currently developing content and finding contributors for this important extension of remixin.

Contributing Writer (Music Production)

Responsible for contributing articles on music software and hardware. 1-2 articles a month are expected.

Contributing Writer (Reviews)

Responsible for writing CD reviews for Albums and EPs focused on remixing as well as interviews with Artists who focus on remixes or are doing intersting things with remixes. 1-2 articles a month are expected.

Journalism Intern

Responsible for 1-2 Weekly blog entries and 1-2 articles a month.
