The Reflex elements were a lot of fun to work with! I used the real-time pitch adjustment features in Digital Performer to tweak Johhny's bassline in several different ways. The chord progression builds off the main chord from the original, and the syncopated rhodes line uses the same rhythm as the offset rhodes lick.

Yo daved and bal-ee, sincere thanks for the comments. I haven't cranked out a track in a while, and was pretty fired up about this one, only to see that it's under attack. I hope, as you suggest, that Klassik Fiasco will listen to all the entries and not put much weight on the crowd's estimation. I also hope that my following point doesn't appear immodest, but if you look at most of the negative votes for my track as of 7/28/09 10:00PM Pacific time, most have one thing in common: one positive vote for a certain artist, negative for every other vote. Perhaps this is just a coincidence. Anyway, proof is here:

Why this is not in the top 10? Anyway not to name names , but theres folks in here that seem intent on bringing the best tracks down in the ranks (not that mine is one :), and seem like Alts for producers that submmitted.
