On her latest album ‘U', Tujiko Noriko (JP/FR), teams up with Lawrence English (ROOM40 curator) and John Chantler (UK) to further blur the lines of her dream-like music. The Result of an email collaboration between Paris and Brisbane over a three year span the combination of swirling ambiance, guitar-strums and electronics work as a perfect compliment to Tujiko Noriko vocal harmonies. On 'U' Tujiko Noriko's vocals are less fragmented and disorientating this time around allowing her voice to float freely over the tracks.

Overall, the style of each musician merges into an exquisite experience offering the listener a glimpse of what can be expected on their solo efforts. ‘U' has a fluid feel that many collaborations lack and would serves as a great starting point...Recommended.
